    Best Burgers in East, Singapore

    Katong, Siglap and the East Coast.

    The east is the part of Singapore we have covered least. Shake Shack at Jewel is the dependable airport option, a solid bacon cheeseburger with decent fries. Burger Frites on Joo Chiat Road did the job for a burger craving. Garang Grill’s smoked cheddar burger at New Ubin Village was the most interesting of the three, but it has since closed.

    We have eaten 3 burgers in East between 2019 and 2025, averaging 3.55 out of 5. 1 of the 2 still open score four stars or better. The cheapest is the Double SmokeShack at Shake Shack Jewel, 20 SGD. 1 has closed since we visited and is marked as such.
